Community Use at the W3ST pitch

As we finalise our scope and plans for the pitch, the W3ST committee have agreed to avoid a high barrier fence and to make the pitch unlocked and so allowing community access at any time when there are no community club lets. At times of holidays this will be a great daytime facility for all children.  We hope this approach will reinforce our intentions to bring all aspects of the community to this facility whenever it is not being used by local clubs. This will make the W3ST pitch one of a very small number of community 3G pitches that has open access. It should be a valued amenity to living in Strathaven.
